Joey started in broadcasting as an intern at age 19 in Cleveland, Mississippi. He learned on-air, engineering and business skills from his mentors Kirk Harnack, Larry Fuss, Jim Gregory and Howard Johnson. While knowledgeable in all aspects of radio and marketing, his achievements as a copywriter have brought much acclaim along with multiple Copywriter of the Year Awards. Joey is also a proud member of the Lions Club of Pago Pago, Rotary Club of Pago Pago, Scouts of America, Samoa Musika Foundation, Inc and Das Bank International Voice Association.
